I am working as a senior lecturer in Mathematics at the Department of Mathematics, Faculty of Science and Mathematics, Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris. I completed my B.Sc (Hons) in Mathematics and M.Sc in Mathematics at Universiti Teknologi Malaysia, and my Ph.D (Mathematics) at Brunel University West London in 2013. 
Throughout my services with UPSI, I have led three research grants that are worth RM142,100 in total. I am also one of the co-researchers for 7 other grants which are worth RM93,850 in total. My main research work is partial differential equations. Other than that, I also work on optimization, operation research, complex analysis, numerical analysis and mathematics education.
Till today, I have published about 26 papers in indexed journals including ISI / Scopus and 7 proceedings. In UPSI, I was appointed as coordinator for Bitara School of Sekolah Kebangsaan Banir, Tapah. I have conducted several community programs especially related to Bitara school.
Now, I am the Coordinator for Graduate Employability, Pusat Keusahawanan dan Kebolehpasaran Graduan (EDGE), UPSI to help students to be prepared to embark on the working experience after graduating. I was appointed as the acting deputy director for EDGE from 1 August 2022 to 30 Sept 2022.

I am also the Leader of the Technical Committee of the PENJANA KPT PACE Program (Professional Certificate) for UPSI from 1/9/2022 till 30/6/2024. It is a program for students in their final year or 2022 graduates’ to improve their skills and strengthen their competencies through professional certification based on expertise and competencies of related fields. We successfully received RM471,898.00 of the total amount of the grants for the program in UPSI.
